Accommodation

On the day of arrival, you can check in from 15:00. You can check out until 11:00. Would you like to check out before 07:00 on the day of departure? No problem! You can pay the cost of your stay at the reception the evening before departure. For late sleepers, we offer a late check-out on Sundays, allowing you to stay in your room until 13:00. This is subject to availability.

The extensive breakfast buffet is served in our restaurant 'the Ballroom'. Is the weather nice? Then we also offer the option to enjoy breakfast outside! Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 10:00 on Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, from 07:30 to 11:00.

Didn't book breakfast, but would still like breakfast with your overnight stay? Please let our reception know. Breakfast costs €20,95 per person.

A safe is available in every room to store your valuables during your stay. The safe clearly explains how to set a code to close it.

That's possible! For 45 euros per night, excluding breakfast, our staff will place an extra bed in your room before you arrive at the hotel. We kindly ask you to let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

Yes, it is certainly possible to provide a baby cot. Please let our reception know in advance, and our staff will ensure the cot is ready in the room when you arrive at our hotel. A baby cot costs 15 euros per night.

Oops… are your clothes just a little too wrinkled in your luggage? No problem. You can use our ironing room. An ironing board and iron are ready for you in this room. You can find our ironing room on the second floor, the very last room on the left.

For dinner, we would be delighted to welcome you to one of our restaurants. Whether you choose our Bistro, Greenhouse, or Bar, there is something for everyone! Our kitchen is open every day from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Make a reservation. here your table for Bistro Els.

Transportation

There are free parking options at Vaeshartelt and space for over 350 cars.

The center of Maastricht is approximately a 12-minute drive from Vaeshartelt. You can park under the famous Vrijthof or on the outskirts of the city where it is slightly cheaper, for example on the Cabergerweg. You can inquire at the reception about several easily accessible parking garages.

Don't feel like paying for parking? From Maastricht Noord station, you can travel cheaply to the heart of Maastricht by bus, train, or (shared) bike. The Maastricht Noord Park and Ride is a 5-minute drive away, where you can park your car for free. Prefer to walk to Maastricht Noord? That is also possible. The station is easily accessible on foot from Vaeshartelt; it takes about 15 minutes to walk there via Beukenlaan. From Maastricht Noord, you can continue your journey to the city center of Maastricht by public transport. It is also possible to travel from this station to Valkenburg or Heerlen. You can inquire about public transport schedules at the reception.

Another option is to take a taxi to the city center. Need a taxi? We would be happy to call one for you so you can get from A to B quickly!

Yes, we have them! There are 5 charging stations for electric cars in our parking lot, including one fast charger. It is not possible to reserve them in advance.

No, there isn't one. However, there is a secure and enclosed bicycle parking area to park your bicycle or scooter.

General

You can use our free WiFi throughout the building; no password is required. Select the Vaeshartelt-guest network to access the free WiFi.

Of course, you can bring your loyal four-legged friend to Vaeshartelt.

  • The surcharge for dogs is 25 euros per dog per night.
  • A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed in a hotel room.
  • It is not permitted to leave dogs alone in the hotel rooms.
  • Also ensure that your four-legged friend is on a leash when you walk through our beautiful park together.

Various walking routes are available at our reception. Our lobby hosts can also provide you with more information about the free (long and short) walks. You can also come to our reception for walking and cycling routes in the surrounding area. A little extra: you can reserve a packed lunch for your trip or a picnic basket including a blanket to picnic in our park.

Want to discover the surroundings in a fun and sporty way? Rent a city bike from us for 15 euros per day or an e-bike for 30 euros per day (available all year round subject to availability). We ask that you reserve the bike a week in advance to ensure that bikes are still available for you. Comprehensive cycling maps are available at our reception, and our staff will be happy to help you on your way!
