On arrival day you can check in from 3pm. Checking out is available until 11am. Do you want to check out before 7am on the day of your departure? No problem! You can pay the cost of your stay at the reception the evening before you leave. For the people who enjoy sleeping in we have a late check out on Sundays. That way, you can stay in your room until 5pm. However, this is only possible based on availability.
Our extensive breakfast buffet is served in our restaurant. From Monday – Friday, breakfast is served from 7am to 10am. On Saturday and Sunday from 7.30am to 11.00am.
Didn’t book breakfast, but feel like getting one after all? Let our reception know! Our breakfast costs €16,50 per person.
There is a safe in every room to store your valuables during your stay. The information about setting up a code can be found on the safe.
That’s possible! For €45 a night (excl. breakfast) our employees will make sure there’s an extra bed in the room upon your arrival.
Yes, placing a baby bed is certainly possible. Let our reception know in advance, and we’ll make sure the baby bed is ready for you when you arrive. A baby bed costs 15 euros per night.
Oops… have your clothes become a little too wrinkled in your luggage? No problem. You can use our ironing room. An ironing board including an iron is available in this room. Our ironing room can be found on the second floor.
We’d love to welcome you in one of our restaurants. Whether you choose for the Bistro, Greenhouse or the Bar: there’s something for everyone! Our kitchen is open every day from 9am to 9pm. Book a table through the booking tool on our website or through our reception.

There is a free parking lot at Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt with room for more than 350 cars.
Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt is about a 12-minute car ride away from the Maastricht city center. You can park underneath the famous Vrijthof or at the edge of the city where it’ll be cheaper (for example on the Cabergerweg). For information about all the available parking garages in the area, please ask our reception.
Don’t feel like paying parking money? From Maastricht Noord station you can travel cheaply to the heart of the city by bus, train or bicycle. Maastricht Noord P&R is a 5-minute car drive away from Vaeshartelt. You can park your car for free here. You can also choose to walk to Maastricht Noord. It’s an easy, 15 minute walk through the Beukenlaan. It’s also possible to travel to Valkenburg or Heerlen from Maastricht Noord station. We’ve got the public transport time schedule for you at the reception desk.
Another possibility is taking a cab from Vaeshartelt to the city center. You can buy a cab voucher at the reception desk, which will be booked to your room bill and you will pay for when you check out.
Yes, there are! On our parking lot we have 5 charging stations for electric vehicles, one of which is a quick charger.
We do! There is a covered, locked bicycle shed on our parking lot where you can keep your bikes safe. You can get the key at our reception or use your hotel key.
You can use our free WiFi throughout the building, no password is required. Please select the network Vaeshartelt-guest to access the free WiFi.
Of course you can bring your dog to Vaeshartelt. The surcharge for dogs is €25 per dog per night. There’s a maximum of two dogs allowed in a hotel room. Do make sure that your four-legged friend is on a leash when you walk through our beautiful park together. Please do take into account that it’s not allowed to leave your dog alone in the hotel room.
There are multiple walking routes available at the reception desk. You can find information about the free (long and short) trails and about a scavenger hunt for kids. You can also visit the reception for information about walking and cycling trails in the area. In addition, we can prepare you a packed lunch to take with you on the road or a picnic basket (including blanket) to enjoy a picnic in our park. Be sure to let us know!
Want to discover the area in a fun and sporty way? You can rent a bicycle for €15 a day. We request you book your bicycles at least a day in advance so we can be sure that there’ll be bicycles available for you. You can find extensive cycling maps at the reception desk, where our employees are glad to help you on your way!
