Therefore, all profits are reinvested in the park, gardens, and buildings of Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt. The proceeds from the operation of Vaeshartelt are entirely dedicated to the preservation of the country estate.
The Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt Foundation has been dedicated to the preservation and development of the Vaeshartelt estate since 1992. With care for the heritage, the landscape, and everything that has made this place special for centuries.
The Foundation manages the grounds and buildings of the country estate and ensures that Vaeshartelt remains a living place. Not a museum, but an estate that is used, experienced, and shared — with space for encounter, inspiration, and new stories.
All proceeds are reinvested in the maintenance of the park, the gardens, and the monumental buildings. In this way, Vaeshartelt is preserved for current and future generations. The foundation is registered as an ANBI (Public Benefit Organisation) and, where possible, collaborates with partners and funds that contribute to the restoration and enhancement of the cultural and historical values of the estate.
The board of the Buitenplaats Vaeshartelt Foundation consists of five committed members with diverse backgrounds and expertise. Together, they dedicate themselves to the long-term future of the estate and ensure careful management and future-proof decisions.
